What to Expect for Your First Visit

On your pet's first visit, our specially trained veterinarians will perform a thorough physical examination. They will also review any clinical information provided by your regular veterinarian and discuss specific concerns you may have. Using this comprehensive information, they will identify areas of the body that require attention.
Rehabilitation Consult
**A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book in for an initial rehab consultation.
The initial visit is up to 90 minutes and includes: a full assessment, treatment as needed, and development of a personalised home rehabilitation program to support your pet's recovery and ongoing care.
Treatments Offered
Each patient’s treatment on the day may include any of the following, depending on their individual needs:

Revisit appointments are up to 45 or 60 minutes, depending on the appointment booked, and focus on continuing your pet's rehabilitation journey. This time includes reassessment, treatment as appropriate and adjustment of the rehabilitation plan as needed to ensure progress toward mobility and quality of life goals.
Biomechanical Medicine Consult
The initial visit up to 60 minutes and includes:
Gait and Posture Analysis:
Shaan starts by observing your pet's movement and posture to identify any issues affecting their comfort or mobility.
Hands-On Assessment:
A thorough physical exam focuses on joints, muscles, and soft tissues to locate tension, restrictions, or discomfort.
Therapeutic Techniques:
Depending on your pet's needs, Shaan may use: Chiropractic adjustments to improve alignment and mobility. Osteopathic techniques for restoring balance and function. Myofascial release and trigger point therapy to relieve muscle tension.
Laser Therapy:
Laser treatment is often applied to reduce inflammation, promote healing, and relieve pain.
Customised Plan:
Shaan will provide tailored advice, including home care exercises or massage techniques, to help your pet stay active and healthy.
Revisit appointments are up to 30 minutes and focus on continuing your pet's recovery or supportive care. This time includes reassessment, treatment as appropriate and adjustment of the care plan as needed to ensure progress toward mobility and quality of life goals.
